Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American born professional tennis player and TV personality. She was a tennis superstar because of her appearance as well as her fame. Anna Kournikova was a tennis player in Russia for a long time. At one point she was regarded as the greatest female tennis star. Her success as a doubles player was praised by many. Because of her modeling career and appearance, she became famous worldwide. To this day Kournikova is one of the athletes most sought-after on the internet. Kournikova was a singles player as a modern baseliner moving the ball with speed and spin around the court. She played with strong, deep groundstrokes. When she had the chance, she would approach the net. Her parents, who were both professionals themselves are from Moscow. Sergei Kournikov is a champion wrestler and Alla Kournikova is a marathon runner. Kournikova was five years old when she began to play tennis. At the age 10, in the year 1991, Kournikova moved to Florida to study at Nick Bollettieri's school. Kournikova's journey as a tennis prodigy started when she was 5 years old. At the age of 10, she moved to Florida and trained with Nick Bollettieri. It is still a widely followed celebrity figure in the years after retirement, and has also appeared in Hollywood movies. Kournikova's marriage to Enrique Iglesias began in 2001. They have two children together twins, who were born in December of 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kourinovova was raised in Moscow. Her birthplace was in Moscow on the 7th of June 1981. She is a Russian ex-professional tennis player. She began playing professional tennis at the age of 14 becoming the youngest tennis player ever to play and winning at the Fed Cup for Russia. She played in the U.S Open at 15 years old and also she reached the Wimbledon semi-finals at 16 years old. The tennis pro quit at age 21 because of back issues.
