Bossard launched her career as a commercial seafood worker in the year 1999. She began to work at the vessel F/V Sunset an a65' halibut-schooner that was turned into a Salmon tender, for Murat Aritan. She was employed in commercial fishing since. Bossard got married to Aritan in 1999 and the couple have teamed up to defend their businesses. They both believe in saving as well as profiting from natural resources that are used in the industry of seafood. Otolith launched its direct market wholesale distributorship in Philadelphia when Bossard was able to return from in her home town with two daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1, to Philadelphia. The husband of the business has a lengthy experience in the industry of fish that often means they stay separate for five months or longer. It is during this time that they're focusing on their environmental and financial targets. Bossard and her son Andre and daughter Isabella are scheduled to return to Southeast Alaska every summer as deckhands during the wild salmon harvest.
